Overview

OmniWork (“OmniWork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a workspace that brings your email and your tasks together. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the OmniWork website at getomniwork.com and the OmniWork application (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in.
• Support communications — messages you send us, such as support requests or feedback.

Information from Google

When you choose to connect your Google account, we access certain information from Google on your behalf, with your consent, through Google’s official APIs. This is described in detail in the Google user data section below.

Information collected automatically

• Basic log and device data — such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the Service.
• We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell tracking data.

Google user data

If you connect your Google account, OmniWork requests access only to the scopes required to provide the features you use. Depending on the features you enable, these may include:

• Your basic profile (name, email address, and profile picture) — to create and identify your account.
• Gmail messages and metadata — to display, search, organize, and let you reply to your email inside OmniWork.

We access this data only to provide and improve the features you can see and use within OmniWork. You grant this access through Google’s secure OAuth 2.0 consent screen, where the exact permissions are shown to you before you approve them. We never receive or store your Google password.

You can review and revoke OmniWork’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use disclosure

In particular, and consistent with the Limited Use requirements, OmniWork:

• Uses Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Service’s user interface.
• Does not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or other purposes.
• Does not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
• Does not allow humans to read Google user data unless (a) you have given affirmative consent for specific messages, (b) it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) it is required to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data has been aggregated and anonymized and is used to improve the Service.
• Does not use Google user data to train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.

How we use data

• To provide, maintain, and operate the Service — for example, displaying your inbox and tasks.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to your support requests.
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers — trusted vendors (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to run the Service.
• Legal reasons — when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
• Protection of rights — to protect the safety, rights, and property of OmniWork, our users, or the public.
• With your direction — when you ask us to share information, for example by sending an email through the Service.

As noted above, Google user data is never shared for advertising and is handled in accordance with the Limited Use requirements.

Storage & security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption of sensitive credentials such as OAuth tokens at rest. Access to systems that handle user data is restricted to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

Retention & deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you disconnect your Google account, we delete the associated access and refresh tokens. When you delete your OmniWork account, we delete your personal data and any cached Google user data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Your rights & choices

• Access & correction — you can access and update your account information at any time.
• Revoke access — disconnect your Google account inside OmniWork or via your Google Account permissions.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data as described above.
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.

Children

OmniWork is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
